study of the relationship between social capital and the citizens' compliance with citizenship culture, case study: tehran's citizens in 1393

this paper aims to study the relationship between social capital and culture of citizenship as key elements of social sciences.  in the recent decades, the variables such as social cooperation, solidarity, trust and awareness have been discussed by sociologists as the fundamental factors of social capital and the values and norms of citizenship. thus, the current research aims at specifying the status of citizenship culture and social capitals, and the link between them in the statistical population of this study. this study is a social survey and its data are collected through questionnaire and interview. the statistical population includes all the citizens over 15 living in tehran in 1393. using the cochran sampling formula, 1112 subjects are chosen as the sample. the results of this study, using pearson correlation coefficient, confirms the positive and meaningful correlation between social capitals and the citizen's compliance with the citizenship culture(r=0.34) with a level of reliability as 99%. additionally, the results of multivariate regression analysis indicate that the effects of variables including social cooperation, awareness and trust on citizenship culture are %21, %17 & %6, respectively
